Dream Racing Australia’s Jackson Rice has earmarked a potential limited run of National Trans Am rounds to complement his title campaign in the TA2 Muscle Car Series.

Currently second in the TA2 Muscle Car Series, Rice entered his first National Trans Am Series round of the season at Winton where he scored a best of fourth in the opening race of the weekend.
Rice previously contested selected rounds of National Trans Am in 2022 before making the decision to prioritise the TA2 Muscle Car Series where he has enjoyed victories and sits second in the standings.

The young gun has earmarked Queensland Raceway, Sandown and Bathurst as potential National Trans Am rounds he is aiming to enter before making the switch to the series full-time next year.
“The plan was always to integrate both series. When we did that during this year to progress to Trans Am it was on depending on what events lined up, by now I know the competition 100 percent,” said Rice.

“I think Nash (Morris) put it perfectly at the Queensland TA2 round, these blokes in Trans Am race for sheep stations, so it’s really good to develop your skills in TA2, but these guys play hardball. I think it was good at Winton, great for myself personally and for the team to show we can enter Trans Am competently as well as be competitive.”
In the meantime, Rice returns to competition at Morgan Park Raceway for Round 4 of the TA2 Muscle Car Series on July 7-9.
